Oh the sweet splendor

So so much goodness, life is grand....wait, I'm a good 6 papers behind, it's bloody cold outside for the month of may, and I'm broke. But my sister is newly engaged, her and her boyfriend Jeff are now offically engaged, eventhough the world knew that it would be happening. Yeah for them. Today I walked into my professor/advisor's office and one of the first things that he said to me is you are taking an in progress right? I had to turn around and see who he was talking to, espically since I was there to work and not so much talk about my thesis, and he was just like well I was not expecting your thesis until after China. What??? This can't be happening, he is telling me not to stress about my thesis like I have been for the past month and to just go with the flow of life, take it easy and if I have it to him before July 1st than I will be considered a May graduate, and if it takes longer than I will be considered an August grad; either way I'm walking in May but with much less of a stress build-up until that point. But I told him that I still have some findings and things taht I can present on the 18th no prob, and he just told me to take care of other things and get ready for China and other end of the year projects. Sweet.
Other happenings going on, when I go to China for a month, my friend Walter will be moving into my place---still need to break the word to mom and pops about a cohabitation happening in my apt. but it should all be good-nothing less than akward at first but what isn't in life--at least at first?
